The little house, our future home

A promise is a promise. Here are the shots showing what we found was going to be our home for the coming months. We now have a Contract (bailment??) signed with the owners where both agreed that we have the right to live in the little house for a minimum of  9 months  without paying rent.
We already started an addition to move the tiny, poor, in bad shape kitchen from the best spot in the house with gorgeous views to the bay (see the view from the existing kitchen window) to a corner of the house. Needless to describe what you see on this shots. Unfortunately there is no room for a guest room, there is a 'passing trough' room, from living room to the corridor to the bedroom, where we will set our office that can receive a queen bed when visitors come, everything will be tight when this bed is added but it fits and you, our welcome guest wi be always welcome in our little home!!

This are the entry views from the main gate, and the gate! House and gate are very close.

Lisa, get ready! we know we will be there at least until February! You may even get a job at the Lodge!

These next pictures show the Main Living-Dining area with the existing tiny kitchen

Nice view, uh?

Following shots show whats down the stairs, passing through rom or future office that might, I mean might, not surely, receive a deck atop for a guest bedroom (that is if Martin agrees to supply the lumber and Robert agrees to build it). After you'll see the corridor to bedroom, bath and laundry room, ending at garage that you access from laundry room.

And lastly, a few shots of the addition, kitchen o be near the entry door...

We believe in two months the new kitchen will be in good shape to be used, may be not completely finished but in moving condition. We are also thinking of moving into the little house ASAP... our life is in all those boxes, it is very uncomfortable to be moving boxes back and forth, opening and closing them every time we need a little something! Martin will replace the stove, we brought everything else, so we should be able to get settled soon!

We miss having our own space, it has been FOUR months since we left our home in Savannah!

We will keep posting the progress of our new place, already Juanita's and Rosie's place.
They are not allowed in the Main House, of course; we miss spending quiet evening time with them in the living room too!
